Not a Princess

This cat on the pile of quilts makes me think of the "Princess and the Pea" (Once Upon a Mattress) story, where the true lineage of a princess could be proven by making her sleep on a pea under a pile of 20 mattresses. Only a true princess would be so sensitive as to be unable to sleep because the pea would make her too uncomfortable, even through all that padding.

This kitty is obviously of as humble a birth as any cat can claim - she is quite comfortable on her pile of quilts.

Miniature quilt - measures about 8x10 - and yes, those folded quilts are actually pieced (very very small pieces).
