Artisan Crafts / Textiles / Quilting

Whole cloth quilt on Radiance Fabric (cotton silk blend). This was done on my Bernina 440 without the stitch regulator or walking foot. The quilt is 20"x20". This is the first time I've ever done a whole cloth quilt or microstippling. Design is by Jill Schumacher.

Actually started with the handle of the basket - then worked around the flowers and basket - then worked my way out.

Quilting astounds me. I used to sew my own clothes, as well as clothing for the rest of the family. I've built costumes, faire garb, and a stuffed doll for one of the girls; but this is beyond me.
