In our heads or in our bones
I know nothing but I'm guessing
When we die we're not alone
So, I've posted a few of my recent things.... I have at least 12 UFO's in progress, and not nearly as many things completed as I'd like. My Bernina has been sent back to the factory for major repairs, so I am using my old machine. This means I can only do straight stitches, and it's been so long since I've used it regularly, I can't find a lot of the parts - including my 1/4 inch foot. So, I haven't been doing a lot of sewing - only what I absolutely HAD to do.
Mostly I'm working on fusible projects, and I'm not completing any of those because I my old machines don't do zigzag, satin stitch or buttonhole, nor do they handle specialty threads. So... i'm fusing like crazy and making piles of things I will have to special stitches on later.
I have been trying to get past this feeling of inertia about working, so I've been spending a lot of days doing little or nothing, in between days of frantic activity. Maybe my depression is turning into bipolar disorder, but I spend a lot more days depressed than manic. Doctor has me on some new meds called pristiq but they haven't had nearly enough time to kick in yet.
I am working on like 3 mystery quilts and 5 block of the month quilts - why? I have no idea. I guess because right now I'm not really inspired to create my own designs or to simply create a single quilt in one sitting. I wish I felt more creative right now, but at least I'm still working to some extent.
Thanks to all who have been dropping by and visiting my site. I'll try to finish up a few more things and get them posted soon.
I DID buy a new sewing table - one large enough to quilt on, so hopefully when I get my Bernina back I'll actually get to finish some of the quilts sitting in my UFO pile.

How's school going... Luke mentioned things are going well with your new roommate. That's a refreshing change, I'm sure.

School is hectic and communication pathways with two of my teachers have been a continuous roller coaster.
